Default mutiple short to grounds problem solved-please read.

If any of you have been following my posts I've had the weirdest problem and nobody could help. I have a 2003 a6 2.7t. It would start and run and drive but I had no boost and the vag com produced 19 codes. My car was reading all types of short to grounds. All 4 o2 sensors, both egt sensors, maf, sai, n75, n249 and both cam position sensors. If you are getting these codes or most of these codes change the fuel pump relay before you try anything else. I found a thousand posts saying that if the fuel pump relay is bad the car won't start. That is false. I can make a video to prove that my car would start and run with no problems besides boosting. Nobody could tell me what these things had in common and I've figured out they all have the fuel pump relay in common. Change that 40 dollar relay before you even start with the headache. I checked every wire everywhere. Nothing. The previous owner bought all these things new and it did nothing. He even replaced the turbos. Nothing. They all weren't getting enough voltage and were reading short to ground. 8v was my reading to all of them besides the o2s. Just trying to help out and prevent the 3 month headache I went through.

i used to work for a large construction equipment company as an electrical engineer. When i was buying identical relays (they said Siemens, not Audi), we paid ~$1.50 for them, at that time the dealers were charging ~$25.00.
