hello,

i'm trying to install my central lock keyless entry system.
it's a aftermarket set, and the install looks rather easy.
it's just that i cant findout wich two wires i need from the central lock unit.

i have located the unit, its under the carpet just in front of the drivers seat.
its a big black box and once opened, you see a lot of wires, i do have a electric circuit wiring diagram, but i cannot read it well.

so i have a central locking in the car, but i want it to be remote controlled.
now i have to manually open the driversdoor, open it, push the button at the inside of the door to open all other doors, then you can open the other ones and that is annoying.

so can anybody please help me determine wich wires to use for lock and unlock signal?

if possible i would also like to know wich wires to use for the separate opening signal for the trunklock.

would be much appreciated!

my car is a 1998 audi a6, 2.8 quattro avant.

i will surely look into the basics later but right now my interior is partially stripped and i want to fix this rather quick.before i have self educated we are way past the time i have available.so nobody who can just tell me, after looking into the schematics, wich wires i should use to lock and unlock my doors?
