02 3.0. Im getting about 22psi at idle and about 43 at 2k rpm with the oil temp at about 190F. Is this to spec? too low? obviou8sly the higher the oil temp gets the lower the pressure gets.

anyone have any readings at fully warmed up?

Oil pressure switch is near the oil filter mounting plate, up and slightly left. Unscrew it and check oil pressure with known good mechanical pressure gauge.

Idle should be at least 1.5bar.
2K rpm should be at least 3.0bar

Bentley says if pressures not obtained oil pressure relief valve or oil pump is faulty, replace oil pump.

great thanks. cleaned screen on pump check pressure right on spec, no more light hopefully that was it.
