Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew how interchangeable parts are on the same year Audi (2004) 2.7T vs. the 4.2. Aka fuel pump, transmission, alternator etc... I totaled my 2.7 but other than the body on one side it's mechanically sound. I found a nice 4.2 for a good price, so in the spirit of saving money, getting a car that's mostly mechanically interchangeable could save me a lot of money in the long run.
