Default Question regarding MAF wiring

Hi!
My question is regarding the connection between the maf & harness. The wiring to the female connector has been pulled out , would appreciate any help with reattaching the wires correctly.

A6 c5 3.0 2002

The wire colors are:

yellow (a little thicker than the rest)
green
green/yellow stripe
black/white stripe
purple/yellow

thanks in advance!

Green terminal 3, Black #1, Green/yellow #2, Violet/yellow #5, Green #4.

That is the order from left to right in the manual schematic. Also, the Green to terminal 3 appears on the top of the plug, while #'s 1, 2, 5, and 4 are on the bottom side.

Not being an expert in reading these schematics, I'm not sure if there are any numbers on the part to identify the locations. Nor if that odd number sequence is correct.

Your best bet is to buy a new connector...it comes with pigtails from the connector and you splice your wires onto the pigtails. It's possible to remove the terminals from the connector and perhaps reattach or solder the wires to the old terminals but in my experience the terminals are damaged and really difficult to reinstall.
