RESET SERVICE LIGHT ON 2001 A6 2.7T
i checked the archives and some suggest the service light can only be reset with a tool. where do you get it and how much $? i tried a few suggested methods without the tool but that did not seem to work.

IIRC: With car off, push down on the odometer reset button on right, turn key to on,
This will display your service indicator. Now still holding the button on the right, push the button on the left. This will reset indicator.
