Default RS6 tachometer on A6 -

Would that work? I like the RS6 tachometer, it's like a bit simpler. But more elegant and looks imo way better.

It's just an overlay.. Assuming the numbers are in the same place, should just lay there same as the one you have now.

Depends on couple things
If your cluster has immo number coded then you can do it but you will need code fromrs6 cluster to login so you adapt the cluster to your car.
The simple way is to move pointers and gauge face plate, but you will to recalibrate cluster so show correct speed fuel etc

How to calibrate? Pull needle out at a certain mph and push back in?

Taking a pic of the cluster off and on before removing and disassembling it + a speed indicating GPS reciever for getting the speedometer accurate does help.

And no, you can't simply reposition the needles, as a means of calibration, it doesn't work that way.
