Just remove the couple 5mm allens holding the rail and pull it out of the intake, leave the injectors in the rail, and clipped in. And jump the fuel pump for a few seconds, watch injectors, a bad one would leak. Also fuel pump has a check valve to hold the fuel in the lines, if it leaks back the lines will be dry and take abit of cranking to get it to start up. Coolant temperature sensor can cause hard starts also. You may want to try that since its super cheap and easy.

i did it now, when i short the relay, a sound is coming from the fuel rail, but nothing fuel.
I suppose they dont leak then ?

How to check the valve ?

And the o ring on the injectors was very dirty, should it be that ?

And how does i find out if the coolant temprature sensor is bad ? The temptature gauge in the car is working, when the car is hot, it is a litte bit over 90deg celsius (194 fahrenheit)

When i did the test on the fuel relay, it took a few secound before i heard a sound from the rail the first time, the other time the sound was there right away.

If i waited a while, the same problem over agian, some second before a sound the first time.

Are you sure the check valve is in the pump ?
I have the 1.8T AEB engine.

When i see in the cars paper, the fuel pump was changed in 2012.
