Default Smoke and oil coming from exhaust tail pipes

I have a 2001 A6 2.7T. It is smoking and oil is leaking from the tail pipes. It doesn't start smoking until after the engine is completely heated up though. It's losing oil pretty quickly and I am also getting oil on my spark plugs. I'm not losing any coolant, getting coolant in my oil or oil in my coolant. I originally thought it could be the pcv breather hose assembly because it was really clogged when I took it off. I bought a new one and still have the same problem. Some people have told me it is a bad turbo seal. Valve gaskets or piston rings maybe? Anyone have any input?

Not sure on the turbo seals others might have more info, possibly more of a PCV issue then a hose as their are many including check valves and a regulated vent, one thing for sure is if that much oil is being burnt I'd be very concerned about the cats, don't cook them.

Is there more than one pcv valve? There is one in the breather hose assembly that I just replaced. I'm not driving it at the moment. Just test drove it after I replaced that hose assembly.

Oh, you didn't mention anything about a pcv valve or Crankcase Vent Valve just a hose.
Someone just posted a pcv diagram for the 2.7, I'll see if I can dig it up and post it too.

Turbos maybe - but given the relative rare situation where a turbo goes, I'd be wondering about valve stem seals. If these go, you will leak oil from the head into the cylinder - and I would expect these before turbos, although both situations seem to be relatively rare events.

If you can jack the car, you could pull the hoses and see how much oil comes out of there - I've seen a good amount come out of them on turbos that are still OK - but if you get cups of it coming out...that would point toward the turbos...
