It is rare for mods to bring a higher price.
Most people assume performance mods are associated with harder use (no matter how well the car is maintained).
Unfortunately the same goes for above and beyond normal maintenance. It should command a bigger bump in price, but rarely does.
Not trying to be a bummer, but (as they say) "It is what it is"!
Watch auto trader for a while and see what people are listing and selling cars for.

But, I have no real evidence, so, I'm willing to be wrong.
Point is, why not try the niche premium sell, then back down if it doesn't fly?
...assuming OP has enough time to wait for the cash.
Or, maybe a trade on a new Q. ;} That might throw enough value....

Ha, thanks makes sense. While ignorance is never an excuse, this is my first time ever selling a car! I honestly never thought about rules for no sales on the forums, but that makes sense now that you put it that way.
1st Car) 1977 Dodge D200 (still own it)
2nd Car) 1989 Buick Park Ave (gave it back to the parents after college)
3rd Car) 2002 Audi A6
Seems weird to say at 34 years old, but I guess that's what happens when you keep cars for over a decade

Thanks all, I'm going to post it to the classifieds and cars.com later this week. I'll snap some better pictures (with better lighting). There are lots of A6's on cars.com in the $6K-7K range with similar miles to mine. Honestly most of them are more of a "grocery getter" look, not very sporty... I think I'll post mine at $8K to see if anyone appreciates the sportier look and power.
I'm sure a lot of people on this forum can relate, but it just pains me to let the car go for roughly what I put into it -AFTER- buying the actual car. But to be fair, everyone said that when I started the modding years ago, and it's been a great ride. So no regrets I suppose
