Bought a S6 today
So Happy, picked up a beautiful 2007 S6 V10 with 120K miles. I had a A8 with a 4.2 but this by comparison is a rocket ship.
One small item, When I adjust the height of the steering wheel, the max distance between high and low is only about 1". Not high enough for me to see the turn signal indicators. Seems it should move much more. Ever hear of this issue?

It's a C6 FWIW.
Could be the 1" is illusion or different based on how far the wheel is telescoped.
It is a rocket ship. What did you pay? Fair price is about $20K with that mileage.
Did you look at the S8?

I paid 15K. I've known the car since it was new, bought it from a friend. Always garage kept, only serviced at the dealer, never had a check engine light on. Comes with 4 new snows on rims and 4 new 19" summer low profile tires on rims. It has had very few repairs. It needs a wheel bearing but that's all. Nice deal.
