lifetime warranty? Hah! Lasted 6 months 😩😩😩
I bought a new part from Advance Auto Parts with a "lifetime" warranty. Paid $305. Part made in Taiwan. Lesson learned. Found OEM part on guiuneaudipatts.com for $291. I was told the part is made in Germany. I will only put quality parts on my Audi from now on!

Codes are clues, not a shopping list.
I wouldn't replace anything until you do what others have suggested:
- check to make sure the TCU isn't a swimmer
- clean the connector between the trans and the wiring harness
