Default Window hassle - advice required

Hello to all.

2 windows are giving me some grief, passenger window goes down but wont go up. Mechanism makes noise but wont go up, and I can physically push it up. I took the door apart to investigate. So I'm not too sure what is or could be broken there?

Drivers side, this is weird. Was working fine, then the other day I tried to send it up - it went up then stopped, went back down - then I tried and it moved slightly upward, then back down. Any ideas why that window is irritating me?!

As always, thank you for any help!

Re: the passenger window... if you can hear the mechanism and the window is not moving, it's probably the plastic bracket that connects to the window. They are available separately for the front windows, but not the rear.

Re: the driver window... The windows have an "automatic reverse" function, which occurs when a large object, such as a baby's head, obstructs the travel of the window. If there is too much friction in the sliding action of the window, such as from the guide rails, this function will also happen.

I have had a good bit of luck using silicone spray directed into the window channels to ease the travel of the window.

Well, I am going to order the plastic guides for the passenger side, but drivers side has me lost. Been out there, lubricated the slider/guides and its still acting as though its blocked and wont go up. After 10 minutes of fighting I managed to close it completely, but the problem remains.

What is actually stopping the window from going up? Its lubricated fine, there's no blockages, it goes up when I click the button and push it, then goes down. A few times I got it almost close - it then randomly went back down.

I am raging! Haha

Actually, your driver's side sounds like mine. Try the guides there too.
