So this has been happening for the last two days. When I go and start my car in the morning and its 20 degrees out my wipers will come on automatically while the controller switch is in the off position.

It takes about two minutes "car warmed up" for them to stop moving by themselves. The only thing I can do to slow them down is put the switch in the intermittent position at the slow setting...

They work normally through the rest of the day with no issues.

Anyone have an idea about what is going on here?

Wow! I love this feature! Anyway, I am inclined to guess it has to do something with the resistor in the controller stick/housing. Cold weather could be causing a weird error in contact(s) in stick housing and causing the actual drive-circuitry/module to power the wiper motors.
