PIN Change is the most of easy and safe way if you want to use 09's of Headlight.
Update the car's computer is because of the configuration is different compare with the 08's Headlight. It's let the Headlight work with the right configuration.
For example:
1.Low beam is instead of by DRL in 09's Headlight.

I was just about to ask if this would work as I finally saw an 09 at dusk...and WOW! I loved the look. This is definitely going on my list of mods. Now, if my dealer can just find me what I'm looking for... hehe
I hate to even ask, but for us noobs, what is involved in changing the PIN and updating the computer?

Very cool. I'm interested in learning more about cost and procedure as well. Also, another set of close-up daylight pics to see the optical illusion of the gap would be great. Thanks for posting!!
