Hi, And thanks in advanced.

First, I thought that they only made the V10 Lamborghini engine in the S6 for 2007 & 2008. Apparently, I was wrong and they were made through 2011...Can someone confirm this?

Second, Does anyone know where I can get a breakdown on sales figures for the S6 in the USA by year? So far, all I could find shows A6, (with a note that these totals also include the S6).
I am interested in finding total sales figures for S6 for the years 2007-2011.

1 - yes the 5.2 S6 was produced till 2011, as part of the C6 chassis and then replaced with the 4.0 turbocharged motor in 2012 as part of the C7.
2 - if you read through the VW fiscal reporting statements, you'll find details re: car types sold, however when I did this in the past they didn't isolate on the specific S-series (i.e. S4, S5, S6). Nevertheless, you can make a certain assumption that of the total 10-15% tend to be S-series and can then project what total numbers look like. For example, Audi USA sold 19K A6s in 2012 and sold 23K in 2013, therefore over these 2 years they would have sold 4,200-6,300 S6 models. Worldwide numbers will increase the total number of units sold and the 10-15% weighting tends to diminish significantly, based upon a number of factors: GDP, petrol prices, etc...
