Can anyone interpret this fault code?
My check engine light came on - downloaded the error code and got this fault. Anyone know whats going on? Do I need to fix anything?

thanks. hmmm... I did reset the light yesterday using the VAG-COM - so do you think the MIL light will come on again if this is a real issue? I guess I am looking for insight on how I should tackle this beast - just wait for something to fail and wait for the system to give me exactly what has failed (& replace it then), or should I get something fixed before it causes more damage.

O2 sensor could be on it's way out... has your gas mileage started to slip, not running quite as smooth as it used to?
or the Cat... does it smell like rotten eggs when the cars running?

Gas mileage is still as it used to be. There appears to be a lot of the O2 sensors - front, back, rear left and rear right. How do we determine which one is failing at this point?
No smell either.

Judging from your fault it seems to be one of the after cat sensors. The cars fuel trim is controled by the before cat sensors so that's why you haven't noticed any difference. I'm a bit more **** with my repairs. I would order and replace them all as a system if one failed. You should be able to see the control signal values with the VAGCOM while the car is running, that should help lead you to which one is failing.

is the after cat sensor same as after Oxygen sensor? Does it mean my front oxygen sensor is failing? sorry, my basics are not very clear on this subject.

No. No. and Yes, your basics are not clear. It means one of your oxygen sensors after the cats was causing your fault.

ok, the same error came back when I ran an auto scan. But this time, no MIL -
