read the link I sent you and also try using the search. The 'best' is what came in the vehicle (ZF Lifeguard). Therefore, my advice would be swap it out with what the original manufacturer (ZF) uses.

The tranny holds 9qts of fluid, however changing the fluid means you drop the pan and remove the 5 quarts of fluid that come out and replace that 5 quarts. Since the remaining 4 qts will be in various parts of the tranny that simply wont' come out when the pan is dropped.

If you do a flush, it will be more expensive, since you will actually be using more tranny fluid than the 9qts.

The dealer gets a little more than $1k for a flush. You won't regret it.

I have looked everywhere and i can not seem to find an answer. Is LG6 the same as G055005A2? And is ZF LG6 the fluid that came stock in my A6?

That's what I used in my2006 3.2. The shifting was noticeably smoother after the change. I just drained and refilled(no filter change or pan drop) at about 80K
