expressing an opionion should have nothing to do with my age. Sounds like there are nothing but bored teenagers on that site.

As you may know, that site come about because of the change in format of Audiworld. At first, I did not care for this format, but the more I used it, the more I liked it. It seems that many of the responses to users on that site are condescending. I mean really, to say this site doesn't have relevance because nobody post in the "home theatre discusion"? get real, this is an Audi site, if people were spending all their time posting about politics or home theatre systems I would be concerned...

Hey, to each their own. I have gotten far more information on this site then I would have ever been able to get on my own. The content provided should ALWAYS overide the format it arrives in. Everyone needs to remember that the reason these sites exist is to share knowledge. That is why it is called a community.

Thanks to everyone who contributes on this and all Audi related sites!

I really don't like the old bulletin board style either, it makes it hard to follow for me too.

I hate the way you get some people posting their reply as a title and then others post the start of a longer reply with "well it would work but......" and becuase of the .... you know there is more if you click on it, but the someone else doesn't put .......... in so you don't know if there is any more in there or not, so you end up having to click on them all anyway.

I don't know of any other forums that still use that layout apart from a couple of car forums, both Audi ones at that.

It is a crap outdated format I agree.

But your post would have got my back up to be honest.

It was confrontational, and the second reply just seemed really rude, so although you had a valid point you were never going to get any answer other than "F OFF!"

you mean the 'L' comment? you know, I got so pissed after reading the comments like 'lick my shaft' and 'douchebag something' that I had to use the 'L' word.

See, I thought that was the second reply, before any one else had replied I thought you put that.

You're right, that format does suck!!

It makes no sense at all.

Yes, and opinion has nothing to do with your age. But the way you express said opinion...does. While their reactions seem to come from bored teenagers, I'm not sure you could have expected a different outcome.
