A-6 3.0 front engine flange

A-6 3.0 front engine flange
I have to change a damaged front engine flange.I dropped bottom oil pan to remove four bolts on bottom side. Bolt on right wont come out as it hits the oil pump. Do I have to take out the the upper oil pan to remove the pump?? Does the sub frame need to be removed in order to take out the upper oil pan?
