Hi guys. I'm new on this and need some help please. I've read things in here before bit meed to spk to someone who knows more a out it than me and lives in uk. I want to change my current bumper for a sportier 1. Can anyone answer some questions for me please over the phone? ?

why don't you try posting your specific questions, furthermore give us some insight on the EXACT model and year of your current vehicle and what you mean by 'sportier'?

I have a 2005 a6 sline. My bumper just goes round at the bottom, but I want it to look like others I've seen where it has a lip either side. Loads of people have told me I can't change it but I've seen them on older cars and my year. I read u can put on 1 from a newer year just need to chsnge fogs, grilles ,headlight washer covers etc. The thing is newer fogs don't just plug into my old 1's. How do I solve that problem 1st?

If you are looking to update the look of your front bumper to the newer C6.5 (2009+) it's a straight swap, however you will need new fogs, fog grilles, the fogs are now H11, and front bumper lip.

In addition to the parts mentioned you will also need new headlight washers. Not just new covers. As far as the wiring issue you've mentioned you can approach it one of 2 ways.

1. Buy an adapter like this:

I did the best of both worlds. I own a wire harness pin removal kit. So I dismantled the adapter and wrapped the wires with an extra layer of marine grade heat shrink tubing to help insure water tight connections over the splice they made for me. I did test to see that the adapter worked first of course.

Thanks for replying. I don't suppose u know of somewhere to buy option 1 in the UK do? That seems like the easiest option.

Cant say I do. But if that place ships to the US I can"t imagine you would have issue over that way. You need to send them a message. Thats what I did. Good luck
