I'm 28 here... just bought a 2008 A6 and it's AMAZING. I've been driving a 2008 Hyundai Sonata for the last 6 years (and for the last 2, I've been driving 400 miles per week) and it's been a decent car. That it, until 3 years ago when I bought a 1994 BMW 740il ($800!) for my wife and saw just how different the car felt and handled. And with a baby on the way, I wanted something that just FELT more substantial than the Hyundai.
Sufficed to say, when I drove the Audi I simply fell in love with its stability, responsiveness, control, how solid it felt, etc.
