I had mine after I put the car seat on the rear right seat of the car. Apparently it pulled connector placed under the rear seat bottom cushing. was easy to fix, but makes me wonder why engineers put the connector under the seat and how other similar decisions would affect my car (i.e. EMS in the front foot well).

This is what I found on ross-tech web site. http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/01217. If you decide to have a look around your air bag, be really cautious because I have seen some airbag deployed and belive me, you don't want to be in the way or nothing else must be in the way because if it deploy, it can kill you or hurt you really badly so be really careful.

You must unplug the battery but even without the battery, static electricity can trigger the igniter when you unplug your airbag. Before unpluging thoses wires, make sure you don't carry static by touching any ground of your car like the door striker. Don't worry, I remove my seat twice and I had to unplug the air bag of the seat to remove it. Everything went well both time. Just be aware of what you are playing with. In audi, wire leading to airbag are yellow.
