Yelling aside, you need the Ross Tech VCDS cable/software. Do you have a code from the system that says why the light is on? There a common code from the rear middle seat about weight exceeded. If that's the code you have, you can just clear the code and move on. They're overly sensitive, and even small and skinny women can set the weight limit off.

You want the $349 HEX-USB+CAN interface with VCDS software.
Ross-Tech Store: VCDS License with HEX-USB+CAN Unlimted VIN (All VAG)

If $349 seems expensive, you may not have the right car to run to high mileage. One issue can save you the $349 by doing simple part swaps even if you aren't technically inclined. You would use it to reset the service interval lights as well as read codes and determine where you should take your car if you don't DIY. You also can do some modifications like using the fob to raise and lower the windows, etc. You can use it to troubleshoot MOST bus issues, and all sorts of things.

It's worth every penny.

+1 on this...don't be "penny-wise and pound-foolish"...you bought an C6, spend the $$ on how to troubleshoot, since based upon the many threads you have started, you seem to have quite a few issues:

+2 You won't regret it, it will pay for itself after just one DIY service.
