How to release parking brakes and put it in neutral with not activated key
Hello Guys,
Ok short story I bought an Audi A6 2008 (FWD) on an auction for my father but the keys were stolen/lost on arrival and they also stole some internal components (carpets and everything, even my backup tire), the car was functional and entire when I saw it.
Anyway I went to Audi (dealer) and requested an original key with chip, so I can go back to my home, release the parking brake and put it in neutral in order to tow it back to the dealer and get the key activated. I know the engine can't be turned on without activating the key, but I thought it was possible to release the parking brake and at least put it in neutral or something but I can't...
I used my VAC-COM cable to check for failures or something but it's not reading anything (I tried with and without key in all positions), I'm able to see momentarily the dash system - only when I turn it on to check the miles, but then it goes away.
Extra info: I was able to "arm" the parking brake but I'm not able to release them, so at least we know that they work.
Where to start? I only need to tow it, right now the only way to move it's with a forklift..
Thanks!

In my experience you cannot do much with VAG-COM if you do not turn on the car and if you do not have a key that is pretty tough. Let us know what you end up doing, it could help some of us in the future.

I talked with a friend that works on the Volkswagen (a senior mechanic) and toll me that some cars like the Touareg (that share some technologies) can't be moved or be operated at all if you use another key or one that's not programed. He explain me that they need to bring the car with a "dolly" wheels and they have to do press the brakes while they reprogram the new key... In few words I need to tow my vehicle to the dealer with a special thing like this:
