PS- noted the "Delta" tag. did you do a KATL/KBHM xfer, or drive the 2.5 hr from KATL?

Good pick up! That's my cat carrier. He's travelling with me. Similar to, but better than the Sherpa deluxe medium carrier but half the retail price because it has a Delta logo. Flew directly into BHM, dealer rep picked me up.

There have been some issues with the car that are being addressed overnight to my satisfaction by Audi of Huntsville on behalf of Tom Williams. Gave me a loaner Q5. I'm visiting family overnight here so this is not too inconvenient, although I certainly could have done without it.

Departed Audi of Huntsville @ 1430 yesterday after they addressed all of my concerns and re-detailed it. While there, more than one person asked if I would sell it. 956 miles straight thru with a few pit/nap stops, arrived in SA at 1030 today. Overnight in the rain and fog is no fun, even in this car, but I was glad to be driving it in the inclement weather. I discovered the value of invoking the speed limit alert, because this car is as quiet as a vault and it hits 100 mph before I realize it. Lucky I wasn't pulled over. I know, that's what cruise control is for. The Audi bluetooth link and Bose sound system transformed the cabin into a concert hall for my iPhone tunes. About 27 mpg on this trip, generally between 50 and 80 mph and using only Chevron Supreme. The sport suspension is a real treat.

I'm lucky to own this car and I'll be keeping it for a very long time, already ordered a customer Covercraft Weathershield HD cover.

the speed sentinel scared the crap out of me the first time it went off.
+1 for chevron 93--just wish it was still ethanol free....
was the 27 mpg trip computer or calculated based on gallons put in?
my trip computer is about 5% optimistic.

I calculated fuel economy based on total miles/gallons purchased, starting with full tank and refilling tank upon arrival.
