does it allow you to store name "tags" in the directory or is it just digit dial, etc?

Default I thought that button was active in all A6 C6s?
I drove 4 before purchasing my 2006 s-line and they all had that option. I'm surprised to here the newer model have an inactive voice button...especially a Q7.

you can save names but they're not tied to the directory entries. you need the full option for that.

When you said it can save names... does that mean I can configure this so that when I say..."dial pierreb" it dials your number? Don't worry, I'm not gonna call you ;-)
