Cheapest way to connect iPod w/o fm transmitter.
Hello Everyone!
I own a 2006 Audi A6 Quattro with Nav, Sirius Radio and a 6-CD Changer (which is not working), so I really wanted to connect my ipod to the car. I have no experience with these cars and I wanted some advice on what would be the cheapest way to do so without having to use a crappy FM Transmitter. I know there are other posts on this but so many people say different things that nothing makes sense.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Bernard

Search "xcarlink." This is what I did. It cost a couple hundred bucks but you can stream crystal clear audio straight from any bluetooth device and add an aux/ipod jack as well.

For a few hundred bucks, have a module installed that will play AND charge your IPod - and wont have to stream anything...it will be a direct connection...
I was quoted $300 installed.

Is there a cable you can purchase and just run through your center console? Jive cable or something similar?
