Default Is this the correct VAG COM for my A6

Hello, I have a 2008 A6 3.2 Quattro. I need to purchase a VAG COM. Can anyone tell me which one to purchase? Is this the correct one?

That cable is junk. It's a cheap Chinese clone, which will at best give you limited functionality and most likely never work at all. They are all junk, except for the original. If you plan on doing any work on your Audi, do yourself a favor and buy the genuine article:

Ross-Tech Store: VCDS License with HEX-USB+CAN Unlimted VIN (All VAG)

I agree with raj99, get the real thing! BUT for those wanting to save money by purchasing a used one there is a small downside, NO Ross-Tech tech support. The cable will work fine but should you encounter an issue while re-coding or doing something arcane with the cable they won't answer any questions without you paying them a $99 re-licensing fee. This hasn't proven to be a problem for me as I've been able to get my questions answered on the various Audi forums I'm a member of. Just thought I should mention it for those cheap-skates like me who buy used!

TY, for the feedback. Where do you find a used one?

In the classifieds section of this forum, Craigslist, even eBay - but a lot are fake on there so be cautious.

My used one came from Quattroworld forum. I monitor all audiworld, quattroworld, audizine & fourtitude forums with some regularity. For older Audis the audifans & motorgeek forums are good parts sources.
