Dash cam and Radar Mount
Does anyone else has them? After being hit 7 days after I bought the car I figured it would be a great idea to get a dash cam.
Post your pictures
yes the radar is ghetto lol on the side there is a very thin piece of plastic and its where the batteries push on the contact plate and it broke. So the tywrap holds them in place

Look good!
I am waiting on my hardwire kit to come in and then I'll post my cam. Any tips for install, specifically the pillar trim. Did you take it off? Or just tuck it in along with windshield side?
I've only had my cam for a few weeks but have had two close calls that I was able to avoid, no thanks to the idiot in the other car. Thinking it will pay for itself sooner than later but hoping I never need it.
Cheers

I do not want my radar detector and other countermeasures to be obviously visible. So I have the V1 mounted in the rear headrest with V1 remote control on the dash.
I do not have the pictire from the C6. Here is the old one from my C4:

but in general the Waze app on android does much better job telling about the traps.

fuse repair wire removal
finished installing mine this weekend. what a chore. first i plugged the repair wire into the wrong spot that didn't touch the metal in the fuse holder so i had no power. i was able to get the repair wire out with two small paperclips, coming from the fuse side not the wire size and jamming them both in, one on top and one in bottom. you will see a little slot in the plastic where the paperclips fit into nicely.
then when wrapping it up i forgot to put the pink fuse holder thing in place. didn't feel like doing anymore so its staying out for a while.
here's some pics.
forgot to put the purple retainer back in and these are the paper clips i used to release the fuse repair wire
