Hi!
I'm about to install rvc on my a6...bought an interface with fbas that was supposed to be for an a6..saw after installation that Sw is for an a8..will this cause problems?.. I have installed it.. And have soo far no errors in dtc.. And it came without component protection also.. how they managed to bypass it is amazing ...?

No one with some knowledge?..should i keep it or return it..? don't want any issues in the future...sort off.. =P

How did you connect the camera to the mmi? Also did you have to run optical cable for the install?

Can you share details? Where you purchased it from? Install info?

I've heard the rvc is a lot of work on our cars, but would be interested in learning more

i only so far installed the mmi interface (just testing it worked)
i'm still waiting on parts...harness etc.. =)
no optical wires are used..only video fakra cable that goes from camera-->camera interface-->mmi interface fbas input
bought parts mostly from ebay or junkyards.

will see when i have all parts and the time to install...i'm also fitting stock swivel towbar..
