Wrong again! CVT transmissions do use DMF. Look at my post above^

Wrong. All engines have flywheels, otherwise they would not run. Not all engines have dual mass flywheels.

Default DMF failure

Did you only change the DMF or did you need to change anything else too such as a clutch? I’ve taken mine to two garages and they are saying if I change the DMF, then I need to change the clutch too. The drive is absolutely fine, I only get a rattle when starting the engine.

How much did it cost for the labour ? I have been quoted 2 grand odd today for part and labour 😣
