Hello to all,
I am wondering if I'm stupid or can it be right, that a 2005 A6 BMK 3.0 165 KW TDI Q does not have a DPF filter fitted. I have a PR code 7GN (= Emission standard, EU4, DPF preparation) on the label in the boot and in service book. I have looked under the car and there is no DPF and also no signs of it been removed in the past. Although VCDS comes up with temperature data of 560C and after filter -53C. those values are constant. I wonder is that right? My car should produce ice cubes but all it does is uses 15l/100km of fuel .
Can some one have a look in their service book? Have some cars been made without DPF?
Ps. car has been made for Italian market
