Default Error Code 01420

I have a 2005 A6 3.2. I have been getting a brake warning light intermittently. I was able to get the error code which is 01420 - high pressure valve 1 for ddc-n227 value of resistance to 0. Has anyone encountered this error code and fixed it? If so is it a relatively easy fix? I checked all my fuses and they look good. What and where is this ddc-n227 valve? Thanks for any input and help on this

Hi all, posting for the first time, and didn't want to make a new thread, so I'll try to reincarnate this one.
I have a 2002 A6 B4, 2.5TD, like the first post states, I have basically the same error code "01421 - High Pressure Switch Valve 2 for Electronic Stability Program (N228)". Searched the web, but the information on this is limited.
Occasionally the panel will lit up with the ABS, ESP, and brake symbol lights with 3 beeps, it can be after 2 hours of driving, after a week, or it can be just after the car has been started, after turning off the engine, the errors disappear.

Often the abs kicks in when decelerating gently with brakes applied when there are no warning lights on the dash, the wheel sensors seem to work, checked them with VAG com. Don't know if these problems are related.

I asked some guys that work and fix the faulty abs modules, with electrical issues, and couldn't help me with this issue, so I presume it could be in the wiring or the pump.

Would appreciate any feedback on this, I'm living in the northern part of the world and... You know... Winter is coming! I would like to have ABS working when it snows

Default Error Code 01420 / 01421

I have had this code before. It was in addition to the 01435 - Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201) code. Both were fixed by sending my ABS module in for repair.

Here is what was in my scan:

------
Address 03: ABS Brakes Labels: 4F0-910-517.lbl
Part No SW: 4F0 910 517 L HW: 4F0 614 517 L
Component: ESP 8.0 quattro H03 0090
.
.
2 Faults Found:
01435 - Brake Pressure Sensor 1 (G201)
008 - Implausible Signal
.
.
01420 - High Pressure Switch Valve 1 for Electronic Stability Program (N227)
000 - - - Intermittent
.
.

Wrong forum. Your '02 A6 is a C5 platform. Thsi forum is for 2005 and up A6s (C6 platform). Post your question on the C5 forum.

I have only the High pressure Switch valve problem, no other. But If it got fixed by sending the ABS module for repair, that is what I needed to hear.

Sorry Gary, figured a post exist, and it was more concerning the problem. If someone has anything to comment on this case please send a PM.
