We are thinking about purchasing a used 2013 A6 with 20k miles on it. although it has low miles due to the age the factor warranty will expire this year. I was quoted 3295 for 5 year 100k gold plus warranty from the audi dealership but looking at the brochure it looks like the warranty is backed by fidelity warranty instead of audi.

I am wondering what kind of experience people had with this warranty as far as coverage and claims being denied. I read some other threads and it seems that there are alot of complaints against fidelity.

What other warranties are out there that is worth purchasing for about the same coverage and terms ?

Actually we ended up with 2013 A6 with 45k miles but its a CPO so it has somewhat limited warranty for the next few more years.

during my research i found that hondacare warranty was very good and decent price with no exclusions and 100 deductible.

no exclusions? brakes? I do Finance at a dealership so truly I spend everyday looking at different warranties lol

lol the normal wear and tear and maintenance items are always excluded..

if you can get me a good rate for anything that cpo warranty doesnt cover i would be interested.

CPO is just powertrain and remained of factory correct? how many miles are you doing a year

jlim0930, you should realize your car is a C7 and you posted this on the C6 forum. BTW, your question is WELL documented on the C7 forum and the warranty, although sold by Audi is backed by Fidelity...there are other options and there are a TON of threads on the subject...use the SEARCH
