FSI 3.2 engine compatibility
Hey everyone,
Sorry to clog up the boards with questions... I appreciate the help thus far!
05' Audi A6 3.2 FSI in question
So far, without scanning... it looks like the engine in the car is lunched. The valve stem seals leak, plumes of blue smoke upon start up and occasional stop starts... the heads might be warped... and the timing may be out a tooth. Fuel injector #1 is leaking. Will be renting a VCDS cord this week to get a log and scan off to be presented to you, my fellow audi gurus.
With this basic knowledge, I am thinking a used engine of lower mileage would be a cheaper alternative to having the above mentioned, fixed.
My vin contains G as the fifth. Would an H also work properly for swapping purposes?
