Hey,

I drive a 2005 A6 4.2.

About 2 weeks ago I had to brake hard and turn sharply to the right in order to avoid an accident. Ever since when I accel/decel, especially at slow speeds, I can feel a clicking in the floor under my feet (left front). The clicking is not continuous, just once per accel/decel if that makes sense. So coming up to a stop, I will feel it once I am stopped, and then again once I begin to accelerate. I'm wondering if this may be a suspension, brake, or transmission issue. Hopefully not the later... Has anyone experienced this before?

I've heard clicking at slow speeds while turning - that is when the wheel bearing goes bad. Doesn't sound like your issue though.

look at the links to the sway bar, the rubber wears out and metal can touch metal, although this usually results in more of a clunk than a click
