Perhaps Togo has no enforceable speed limits but I believe the only other place where 130 mph is not illegal is on the Autobahn in Germany. In the U.S. the top speed limit is 85 mph on a stretch of highway in Texas with other top speed limits at 80 mph in some other western states and most in the 60-75 mph ranges elsewhere in the country. 130 mph would likely end you up in jail anywhere in the U.S. and probably as well in most other countries (other than on a racetrack).
Of course, we don't advocate breaking the law here in the AW forums, right?

I did 180 mph in a stock car at Pocono raceway. I did 155 mph in an A6 on the Autobahn. I have hit the speed limiter in the US (it was a weekend morning at 6 am on a deserted interstate).

I drove on the Autobahn a few years back from Frankfurt to Hamburg and back to Frankfurt the same day but that was with a Renault we rented. The max I did was 110mph. At 110mph, I was being passed by mostly Audis and Porsches like if I was standing still. And you could see the drivers driving only with one hand and comfortably at that speed. Amazing!!!

If I was to have bought my 4.2 A6 a few years back on the very first drive on the motorway with no traffic I'm certain I could easily have hit 120, before I realized how fast I was going and eased of the gas considerably...that's a all hypothetical though

The fastest I've driven so far on public roads is 174 mph in Germany during my European Delivery trip with the RS5. That was a blast.
It kinda shows what's wrong with driver education, traffic laws, the infrastructure and car roadworthiness in the USA considering that people in Germany regularly drive at these speeds on the Autobahn and still have less highway fatalities per capita. I grew up in Europe and learned how to drive there. 65 mph speed limit on the highway is simply pathetic.
