no...this a LOT more than just quad tips. the tips are for show, what you are hearing is the banshee sound of a full bore (r)S6 with a custom exhaust and it may be the twin turbo V10 beast with a tune.

Not that the v10 S6 doesnt sound incredible, but the sound in that clip is amplified, and the pulses multiplied, due to the room that it is recorded in. They are kind of cheating.
Raj, why are you saying that it is an RS6, when the title states its an S6?
The NA v10 S6 will always sound better than the RS6 twin turbo, if utilizing similar exhausts, because the twin turbos muffle the sound, to some extent, as they are attached to the comparatively crude exhaust manifolds.
If you want to get a more realistic clip of a v10 Audi, check out this S8 with custom headers, out in the wild.

There is a reason why the v10 S6 is the top dog of the C6 line in North America, and Audi currently only uses the v10 engine only in its top-of-the-line R8. You wont ever get that kind of sound from a six cylinder engine

i'm just not as familiar with the EU variant of the vehicles, hence wasn't entirely sure which it was. I suppose it could have been the V10 w/twin turbo...but when an engine is blown out like that, it does sound amazing. Although in real life, the only safe way to unleash that would be on a track day event...which I suppose is a good thing.
I have actually heard the C7 RS6 in real-life and that sounded phenomenal. Plus it had been tuned via MTM, which further enhanced it's already ridiculous bhp rating

Well, if you like the sound you dont have to wait 20 years, or travel to Japan, to get it. We are working on a custom set of headers and catback for my v10 S6 that will sound just as good, or better, than that S8.
Plus, my personal setup will have replaceable sections for cats and resonators, that can be easily swapped out for the track. So, the best of both worlds.

If you thought a tuned twin turbo'd v8 sounded good, then get ready for your mind to be blown when you hear the sound of a custom-header'd, naturally aspirated, higher revving v10.
