Default Intermittent headlamp fault

Hi, 2007 Audi 3.2 Quattro, with intermittent headlamp not working problem.

Problem started when headlamp was replaced as part of a collision repair.
Took it back a couple of times to body shop and to Audi, they say loose cable, and it works again for a long time.

Weird thing is it normally happens when I back up the driveway, slight incline, i.e. come home, lights ok, park, get kids out, back into garage, light error, light does not work, next morning light works again.

I've looked and fiddled with the cable harness, seems ok to me.

Any ideas?

Pull codes via VCDS and tell us what errors you are seeing specific to headlamp faults. Could be a lose cable, but there aren't that many related to your headlamps and they are either connected or not, there's very little middle ground. Could be an issue with the seating of the bulb, but like I said it's very hard to mess that up, since it's all rather prescriptive to how things fit.

I only have a BlueDriver reader, and no fault codes showed up, but as before, this morning the lights were fine again.
I think I'll just give the whole thing a once-over, remove and reseat all bulbs and cables.
