i have a Audi A6 with 118k miles and i have a few questions


- at what mileage should the timing belt be changed? the garage are saying 135k


- the spare key is not working for central locking or to start the car but i can manually open the driver door. i have changed the battery to see if that help but didnt help


any information would be greatlyh appreciated

Look in your owners service handbook, it will tell you when to carry out services.

Which motor do you have? The 3.0T is a chain motor and in theory will not need to be replaced. However I bet the chain guides will and .... it's motor pulling time.
