Default Left headlight fuse 32 blows

Has anyone had the problem with fuse 32 blowing?
I have the AFS bi-xenon lights.

When I turn on my headlights, fuse 32 (20A) on the inside drivers side fuse block blows within 1 second.

Thanks in advance.

Do a VCDS scan.

I didn't have my computer with me so couldn't do a VCDS scan. I inspected the headlight assembly and saw the clips that hold the cover on the back had broken off and the cover was slightly open. It is very wet and raining here today so I will try again tomorrow after I get a new cover on the back of the headlight.

Ballast on the bottom side of the lightbulb assembly was the culprit. Verified by switching the ballasts since I already had the bumper off and could trade it with the right side pretty easily.

Out of curiosity I opened the cover on the ballast and noticed a lot of moisture inside the case. I suspect that the broken cover on the back of the headlight assembly was allowing water into the assembly and the water was somehow making its way through the connection into the ballast.

I did notice some condensation in the headlight several months ago but search results make me think it was normal behavior. I suspect the cover was broken at that time but I do not know.

I will post the VCDS logs after I get the new ballast installed.
