Lug Bolt Torque?

Thanks...i had a new tire put on a while back and the shop that put it on had to torque it to a billion ft/lbs...my local shop couldn't get the bolt off and I ended up stripping it.
Torch didn't work, extractor sockets didn't work so now I am attempting to drill it out. May lose the wheel or have to take the hub off...what a pain in the azz.

Sorry to hear. The bolt may be cross threaded. Because Audi uses bolts instead of studs for the tires, it is quite difficult to hold the wheel against the hub while threading the first bolt in its hole. Some mechanics will blast the bolt home with the gun. Had it happened to me once. Cost me a wheel and a set of rotors.
