MMI restarts after 5 min
Hi, i just bought my first audi, 2007 a6 2.7 quattro.
The problem i have is that the MMI restarts itself after pretty much exactly 5 minutes. And it keeps doing this as long as its running.
Talked too my local audi shop and they said it's a matter of needing an update only.
Thought I'd ask here before i get them to fix it, cause it probably will cost me a bit.

Doubt very much this is an update only fix. You need to pull a VCDS log and post it to better understand what's going on. Then my hunch is that you either have some moisture in the MMI causing the restart condition or your BT module, under the driver seat, is water-logged.
I'll try to get a reading this week and mabye post it.
Atleast i know where yo start
