Hi everybody I have a little problem with my screen .

the size of the interface the OS is too large
the font is larger the icons are larger , the only thing i can se is the corner of the interface.

try doing a 3 button reset, see if that fixes the issue:

i upgraded the mmi main unit so this is what it's doing now .

FWIW, you should include what year and model of Audi you have, so as to determine if you have a 2G or 3G MMI. Also, is there any other things that you did?

my car is a A6 4f dec. 2009 i think it's a 2G ??

I just changed the main unit the other one was broke so i found one on ebay and went to a vw dealer they decoded it and this is what i'm getting they weren't able to fix this .

when you mention the "main unit" what are you referring to? part number? Also, the fact that the people at the dealer weren't able to fix this doesn't sound good.

However, are you sure the dip switches on the unit are set correctly? Take a look at the attached doc and it should help provide some guidance.

I'm lost here i can't find the DIP switches it says that i can configure screen size through the switches do i need to take it apart again or what ??

anyone can answer, i have the same problem. Just buy a new audi multimedia on ebay that suppose to fit with my audi q7 2010. I have to modified the plug for the screen (just take off a key slot with a knife to make it fit in the new unit. My plug is color pink but the one on the unit is grey. everything work but i just see 1/4 screen, as picture top of this discussion.

solve! I have 3g mmi basic 6.5-inch TFT color display 1/4 VGA resolution (480*240) and i need 7-inch TFT color display VGA resolution (800*480),

anyone know if the 7-inch TFT color display VGA resolution (800*480) will fit in my dash, hole screen and screw
