Very good oil. Doesn't meet the VAG spec. You can also look at a 504/507 oil which complies with a VAG spec. Mobil 1 offers a 5W30 variety in the USA. I see it at Pepboi only. It's $$$.

Mobil1 ESP 5W-40 is indeed good oil, I have plenty of it, using it for 5 MB Sprinter vans I have in business. It's designed for MB and not rated 504/507. Its good enough for Porsche and Mercedes is it good for Audi 3.2L FSI???? Did any one have any experience with using this oil or any more info to add?
Thanks

Did more digging and found Audi Bulletin http://www.audiusa.com/content/dam/a...e-Bulletin.pdf

It's stating Mobil1 ESP is equivalent to 504/507 and good to use.
I like to try it with my next oil change.

Serge, if the 3.2L you are asking about is no longer under warranty, I'd have no issue running the 5W40 MBz oil. If you are under warranty, look at the 5W30 flavor which does meet 504/507. (Current price is 2X what's shown in foto.)
