Hi, the cooling fan runs all the time the engine is running, even from cold. the fans run at high speed.

So I thought it was the controller and changed it for a new one.

Sadly its the same, any one any ideas what else it could be.

Have you checked to see if maybe by chance your AC is on?

Also check the coolant temp sensor. you can do it simply by looking at the dask temp gauge. If you start car cold and the needle moves up right away, maybe the sensor is bad.

Now fixed,
Thought I would post this as I had to take the car to an auto electrician in the end. They diagnosed faulty air-conditioning pressure sensor which is located behind the front bumper.
So after £300 and an air-conditioning recharge everything is working properly now.
This also fixed a fault which I thought was unrelated where the heater was blowing cold on the auto setting.
This works properly now and doesn't blow any until it is hot.
So all in all a tricky little thought to find and is completely unrelated to the fan control modulewhich I changed unnecessarily.
The moral of the story here is get the codes checked before you buy anything.
