need help with alarm siren..please help

Default need help with alarm siren..please help

i just got me a 2008 audi a6 s-line .when i lock or unlock the car it doesent make any noise...even when i press panic button. only the lights blink but no noise .
can any1 out there please help me and tell me what to do

i get no chirp noise wen i lock or unlock..even if anyone knows where to find the alarm siren in the car

Just try resetting the alarm via a vagcom cable. What you've described happens from time to time and investing in a vcds will help you a ton in the long run

yes i have 1 can u tell me what to do step-by-step...cause this is all new to me

ok great you have a vag-com.

First can you post the faults that are appearing, captured via the vag-com? Then try reseting all the codes and see if that addresses your issue.

Secondly, it may actually be an issue with the battery in the alarm module, but that should show up on the vag-com pull.

Thirdly, it may also be a fuse issue. Simply pull the fuse associated with the alarm on your car and see if it's good...if you don't know how to do that, just go to your local auto parts store and ask them to test it, then either get a replacement (if bad) or reseat it (if good).

thanks for your help after seaching the whole car all of its fuse i found a fuse that wasnt good changed it problem solve
