Newbie user seeking help/advice !
Hello all ,
I'm new to this forum and need help with 2 issues I'm having with my 2006 a6 Quattro. First problem is my adaptive headlights . When I turn the vehicle on , I get an error message saying adaptive headlight defective . I want to swap out the stock headlight assembly to aftermarket ones . But they don't have the adaptive headlight feature . So my question is , will I still get the error message ? Also, last night when I went out to eat I parked my vehicle facing a wall . When i started the vehicle, both headlights swiveled. So maybe it isn't the headlamps assembly at all ? Is there maybe a sensor somewhere located on the front to suspension ? Any insight would be greatly appreciated . Also , I was in staying my woofers and amplifier last week when I notices an XM satelite radio receiver in the trunk . Mounted vertically where the factory Bose amplifier is . I know there were some models that came with the xm radio , but mine doesn't have the SAT button . So Imuch kind of lost as to how I would use the xm .
