not your common led headlight conversion question
Hey guys, long time lurker. Ive got an '09 facelift a6 with halogens. Ive installed the '09 led headlights, hid ballasts, bulbs, etc and bought a kit from kufatec. I believe something was lost in translation because the kit seems to be for prefacelift cars wanting to upgrade rather than a halogen facelift car wanting to upgrade. The vendor i bought the kit from has been ignoring me for 3 months so i figured it was time to get some advice here.
The kit included a new control module (under the dash) and 4 wires from the kufatec harness. Two of these wires go to T32 pins 6 and 16 and the other two go to t10 pins 2 and 8. Then it said to connect t10 1 and 6 with t32 4 and 14.
all this did was make my car think that my parking lights were my drls... Im able to move the bixenon shield so that i have high beams but it wont stay. its like youre just flashing your high beams. the low beams work well but the leds dont work at all.
Id appreciate any headlight wiring diagrams or knowledge on this. I wonder if it actually less complicated since my car is already a facelift model and doesnt need some of these connections. or maybe just some pins rerouted because of the year difference. Thanks for any help!

quick update, i swapped the control module (under the steering wheel) with my original one and my high beams now work and stay on. this is with the kufatec wires that go to T32 pins 6 and 16 connected. i also undid the "making my car think the parking lights are daytime running lights" thing. the kufatec wires that go to t10 pins 2 and 8 are now disconnected for the moment with no change. those wires displaced existing wires to begin with so i wonder if those pins were empty in a prefacelift car and therefore not necessary in my application...
look forward to any help! Thanks!
